Dr. Stan Leland, DVM

Veterinarian

After graduating from Kansas State University in 1976 he practiced in McPherson, Kansas.  He moved to San Antonio in 1982 and after a few years opened The Pet Vaccination Clinic in 1985, the first vaccination and minor treatment facility in San Antonio.  Dr. Leland has been married for over 45 years and is the proud father and grandfather of 8 children, 10 grandchildren, 4 grand-dogs, 7 grand-cats and 1 grand-bird.

Elizabeth

Veterinary Assistant & Client Communications

Elizabeth officially joined the team in 2020, but has been a long-time helper at The Pet Vaccination Clinic as Dr. Leland’s youngest daughter. You can find Elizabeth around the clinic taking photos for our social media pages, or assisting Dr. Leland in the exam room by taking your pet’s vitals and explaining treatments.

Jasmine

Jasmine joined our team in 2023. She is bilingual and spends most of her time helping clients at the front desk check-in and check-out. Jasmine is the happy owner of three dogs and a cat with a big personality.

Christina

Christina returned to our team in 2022, after working at our clinic from 1998-2005. Some of our long-time clients may remember her friendly smile! She is bilingual and happy to help clients at the front desk checking in and out, answering the phones, and is often seen in the exam room translating for Dr. Leland. Christina is the happy owner of dogs, cats, goats, a donkey, and a pig!
